Family Waiting Areas

MetroSouth Medical Center has created convenient, comfortable areas for families to wait while their family members receive the care they need. We encourage everyone to remember that waiting during procedures can a stressful time and a quiet, calm environment is preferred. If at any time, you need assistance or anything needs to be taken care of, please locate one of our staff, and they will be happy to assist you.

Mezzanine Level

• Emergency Department Waiting Room - Located just outside the Emergency Room.
• Physical Therapy Department Waiting Room - Located inside the Physical Therapy Department.
• Radiology Department Waiting Room - Located inside the Radiology Department

1st Floor

• Main Lobby – Seating available throughout the lobby area
• Luke R. Pascal Cardiovascular Center – Located next to the Chapel
• Women’s Wellness Center – Located next to the Patient Registration Department
• Out-Patient Laboratory Waiting Room – Located next to the Women’s Wellness Center
• Catherization Laboratory Family Room – Located inside of the Catherization Laboratory

2nd Floor

• Same Day Surgery Waiting Room – Take elevators next to the Information Desk to the 2nd floor; waiting area overlooks main lobby
• Pre-Admission Testing Waiting Room – Take elevators next to the Information Desk to the 2nd floor; waiting area overlooks main lobby

3rd Floor

• Labor & Delivery – Father/Significant Others Waiting Room – Located inside of Labor & Delivery Department

4th Floor

• Intensive Care Units Family Waiting Room – Two waiting rooms located before entering the Intensive Care Units
