Marie Brister-Brown, MD

Dr. Brister-Brown is a board-certified family medicine physician committed to providing excellent care for all stages of a patient’s life, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Dr. Brister-Brown has been in practice since 1999, and has a special interest in connecting with teenagers on the topics of sexuality, wellness, steroid use and drug use.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Tuskegee University in Alabama, she went on to conduct post-graduate work and to earn a Doctor of Medicine from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago. She completed her residency in family medicine at Resurrection/St. Francis Hospital and has been practicing since 1999. She has additional certification as an advanced cardiac life support provider.

Dr. Brister-Brown sees patients at the MetroSouth Health Center at Morgan Park.
